COURSES OFFERED

History of Philosophy
These courses are designed to expose students to a historical period and study its philosophy and philosophers. While reading philosophical texts of a particular epoch, we will also explore other aspects such as art, literature, science and religion, its political, social and economic institutions, and some of its important events.

Schools of Philosophy
In these courses, we will study particular schools of thought, their major ideas and concepts. What makes a school of though? What are some common concerns and ideas among philosophers of the same school? We will trace the life journeys of philosophers who belong to the same school.

Individual Philosophers
These courses will explore the life and the works of a particular philosopher in the places where he or she lived. Courses on any philosopher can be designed depending on interest.

Interdisciplinary
These courses are designed to address other areas of interest such as art, architecture, poetry, literature, theater, mythology and religion. They are proposed to be more interactive and open to other ideas and tools of exploration.
